Building on it's history & reputation as a trusted & leading fashion brand, DOLAN is entering the space with a focus on comfort, fit and inclusivity. As part of its innovative culture & social responsibility mission, DOLAN believes in caring for the community. Toward this end, in 2019 DOLAN created The Laundry Truck LA (TLTLA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free mobile laundry services for people experiencing homelessness -- one of the single defining issues in the city. DOLAN supports the 501(c)3 partially through a 1:1 model through it's DTC business.

Role + Responsibilities:

Content Creation & strategy development:

  • Develops and executes a community-focused strategy to foster and engage the growing DOLAN community
  • Understands natively how to capture content within social platforms and or create content utilizing photoshop/illustrator/Figma etc.
  • Ideal position for those who are scrappy and creative in content creation using existing assets, everyday brand environments, and capturing BTS on set
  • Develop a reporting process for internal shareouts including overall sentiment, engagement, impressions, and other community highlights that could be valuable to product development.

Creator Management:

  • Actively source, evaluate, pitch, and negotiate strong partnerships with social influencers, content creators and influencer agencies
  • Liaise with paid agency on briefs for ambassadors/creators each month to ensure they’re informed of new product launches and themes the brand is leaning into seasonally
  • Build relationships with community partners; identify and foster relationships with advocates and passionate influencers to amplify our campaigns
  • Continue to promote, educate and nurture our brand vision and community goals with messaging across our influencer community to build deep, personal relationships

Community Management:

  • Lead the management and growth of the DOLAN community on company-owned social channels (e.g., FB, IG, TT, YT, PT) to meet/exceed performance measurement goals.
  • Establish processes for identifying engagement, brand-building/PR, promotional, or partnership opportunities and connections across various social platforms.
  • Build relationships with DOLAN Supporters, followers, and future buyers through daily conversation
  • Utilize social listening to draw insights from comments mentions, inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and compliments to create actionable opportunities for the brand.
  • Represent the voice of our community back to internal teams on the conversations, feedback, and recommendations coming from DOLAN community.
  • Be the community expert on the team, able to help the team decide what is most important and help in brainstorming and creating assets that appeal to our audience.
  • Support internal Marketing and cross-functional teams with campaign launch, community management, and social metrics data collection.
  • Manage Social & Community Management vendors/partner tools such as GRIN, and Hootsuite etc
  • Partner with the internal team on community building pop up shops and experiential events - to develop partner relationships and event logistics.

What You Can Bring To The Team:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in social media, influencer, and or community management at a brand or agency, preferably in apparel or consumer products
  • Demonstrated experience in digital/social media
  • Must have experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Excellent copywriter with a sense of humor - Meme creation experience is a plus
  • Organized planner with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience managing Influencer partnerships - bonus if you have familiarity with management tools like Upfluence/Grin, etc
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or adjacent industries is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,193.00 - $85,846.29 per year
